Taxi and private hire licensing news
This section provides information on taxi and private hire licensing in the borough.
We are responsible for licensing both Hackney Carriages (often referred to as taxis) and private hire vehicles which operate in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

Surrey Cycle Classic 14 August 2011
The London-Surrey Cycle Classic will take place on Sunday 14 August. This will involve 350 road closures in Surrey, which will create a closed circuit going through Molesey, Walton, Weybridge, The Byfleets, Ripley, Shere, Gomshall, Westcott, Dorking, Oxshott, Esher and Thames Ditton. It is likely that pre-booked taxi and private hire services will be disrupted on the day of the race.
