Investing in Reigate and Banstead
This page tells you about the benefits of investing in Reigate and Banstead.
Even in these difficult economic times, the Council and our partners are investing very significant
sums to help ensure that the borough's commercial, educational and transport infrastructure meet the needs of our businesses. Our ambitious plans for the regeneration of Redhill include the redevelopment of several key sites which will transform the town centre.
We are also investing heavily in the borough's other main commercial centre, Horley. The town centre will be regenerated by making it the focus of high quality commercial, retail, community and residential developments. Horley is a key focus for growth in the borough, with 2,300 new homes planned in two new sustainable neighbourhoods which will provide a range of dwelling types and sizes, including affordable housing.
Affordable office rentals
Office rentals in Redhill and Reigate are amongst the most competitive in Surrey, with a good choice of Grade A and Grade B space currently available. There are ten dedicated industrial parks in the borough: one in Tadworth, one in Reigate, five in the Redhill area, two in Salfords and one in Horley.
As an active member of the Gatwick Diamond Partnership and the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership, the Council is well placed to represent the voice of our businesses in the strategic investment debates affecting the borough and the sub-region.
