Paying business rates by cheque
This section gives information on how and where to make cheque payments for business rates.
Payments by post
Cheques should be crossed and made payable to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and sent to:

Please put your national non-domestic rate account reference number on the reverse of the cheque.
Post-dated cheques are not acceptable.
Payments at a Bank
Complete a bank giro slip (included with your bill) and present it with your payment at any bank.
The bank may make a charge if it is not your own bank.
A fee will not be charged at a branch of Natwest within the borough boundary.
The national non-domestic rate account reference number shown on your bill must be quoted on each payment slip.
Payments at a Post Office
Payment may be made using the Transcash facility.
Please quote Giro account 3016129 and your national non-domestic rate account reference number, name and address.
A fee will be charged for this service. Please allow 10 working days.
